My kids were counting days until the last day of school. They kept saying things like "This is the Last Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the school year."
However two of them came home crying on the last day because they were going to miss their friends over the summer.
With only a few minor bumps in the road this year, these kids had a great year. They liked their teachers, made good friends, and grew a lot academically.
The day before the school had an awards assembly. Most of the awards went to the graduating 5th graders, but Regina won the award for checking out the most books from the library...60 of them!
