May 2019 Fun

This month has been filled with lots of fun adventures.
We started the month with a trip to the car races. We actually went two weekends in a row. The first trip was ladies night so we got in free including Matthew since someone gave us a free ticket.

The next trip to the races included a limo jumping cars, a demolition Derby, a car getting melted, a boat race, fireworks, and lots of wrecks.
Cody got sick one day so we spent sometime at urgent care. Tip: always carry crayons for coloring the exam paper while waiting for the doctor.
One thing about the weather in May is it is warm enough to eat outside but not too hot and there are no flies yet.
Also the weather is just warming up to play in the sprinkler.
Grandma and Grandpa Conde came for a quick visit and the kids taught Grandma how to play Mario Kart on the Wii.

We took a day trip to McCall. It was fun but very rainy so we ate at the Pancake House. (Bruce's new favorite restaurant)
And we went to the fish hatchery.
The following day, we went to a parade in Nampa. Notice the blue skies. The kids loved getting candy and waving to all the floats.

Our big adventure happened over Memorial Weekend. We drove to Bend, Oregon, to spemd the weekend with family.
We went to the Lava Butte and saw amazing rock formations. One is called a lava cinnamon roll--so cool looking.

We hung out with cousins playing games and watching movies in the evening.
We went to a fun center and a swimming pool as well.

Before we drove home, we stopped off at Paulina Creek Falls. My little family was able to do the small hike to the bottom of the falls without many tears. We even saw snow on the trail.

The kids spent Tuesday and Thursday Night's in swim lessons. They improved a lot thos session.

Now we are looking forward to Summer...only three more days of school!
