Regina insisted that we needed decorations for my birthday. This is what I could come up with.
For my cake, I decided to have everyone pick their own slice at the bakery so no one could complain that they had to eat carrot cake---one of my favorites.
Regina made me a head band out of the fabric scraps.
The day was mostly good. We went out to eat for lunch at a yummy burger place, and I got a really long nap (due to a very bad headache.)
Later in the month, a few friends from church took me out for ice cream and chatting without kids.
