Utah Trip and a Birthday

Matthew had some time off for work and my parents were finishing up their mission in Utah, so we decided to visit them before they went back to Montana.

On the drive to Utah, we took a mini-detour to see the Malad Gorge. It was walk across the steel bridge and see the canyon.

The next day, we went to the Days of 47 parade in Ogden. It had the best floats we have ever seen.

Ogden has painted horses in the downtown area. As we were walking to the parade route, we saw this horse and Matthew needed a picture with it.

Later that day, we headed to Snow Bird Ski Resort to get out of the heat and to ride the Tram. Matthew and the kids loved riding the Tram..me not so much--the heights.

The view from the top was great and it was really nice to be in 70 degree heat instead of 90.

That same night, we celebrated Bruce's 6th birthday. Grandma and Grandpa Wild got him a large Mario balloon. The rest of the Wild cousins that live in Utah came to help celebrate with cake and ice cream.

Bruce's favorite present was Mario Brother's Level-up board game.

To finish off the night, the kids got to watch a movie in the basement. They picked Home Alone.

The next day, we took our cousin, Bethani, with us to see the Planetarium.

We had to wait for the Planetarium to open so we played hand games, and found some cool murals to see. With the right angle, Regina looks like she has wings.

We didn't take many pictures at the planetarium, but this marble track set was really fun to watch.
