It is crazy that my Jennie Girl is 8 years old! I think she has been planning her birthday for months. We went to a movie--sadly we had to leave early because Bruce wasn't feeling well. We ate homemade pizza for dinner and then had choclate cake with chocolate frosting. After opening presents, we played our new game, Pie in the Face. The kids thought it was really fun. Once all the younger kids went to bed, Jennie got to stay up late. We played games together and painted our toe nails. She tried really hard to stay up for her first New Year but she lasted until 11PM--which was longer than her mother.
