We have been having issues with Jennie sleeping in our room. She has been waking up in the middle of the night and coming into our room. Since I have had my morning sickness in the evening/night, this regular occurrence wasn't working. We tried to have discussions about her need to sleep in her own bed, but with little results. So re have resorted to "rewards". The first reward Jennie picked was a tea party--from a book we have read recently. It took her two nights to earn her tea party. We bought some cupcakes from the store and soon as we got home, Jennie forgot all about wanting to do it just like the book and wanted to just eat the cupcake.
Jennie enjoying her cupcake
Regina excited to have a cupcake as well
Our next reward was to be able to watch "Dora the Explorer." We are using this one regularly--hopefully this works for a while. Also, for the last two days, Jennie has decided to sleep in the crib
(Regina prefers to sleep in the Pack-n-Play.) This seems to help Jennie stay in her bed since she doesn't know how to climb out of it.
Jennie is still in love with her Dora pajamas---I should have bought two pairs... Jennie is starting to really express her opinions and this particular morning she decided that this is how she was going to eat breakfast.
Jennie and her big baby---This is a picture of Jennie expressing her opinions (She had to have her picture with Big Baby and she has been picking out her own clothes and sometimes Regina's.
Regina loves shoes and she has found mine. She is very silly walking around the house with them...Notice her outfit---Jennie picked it out.

Choosing outfits is DEFINITELY a GIRL thing! Hopefully Jennie's sense of STYLE will improve with age! Matthew used to like picking out shoes, still does! That must be where Regina gets it!
Rewards are good for all of us-Sometimes! And cupcakes are wonderful ANYTIME at all!
What a good sister Regina is to go along with the outfit choice! There is no way jim would....Love the pictures
