Yesterday, Matthew and I decided that we needed to do some outdoors stuff, so we went to the Northwest Trek. It is like a zoo but it only has animals that are in the Northwest region. It was a perfect day for it. The sun wasn't to bright--great cloud cover, and we seem to be around the animals just around feeding time--so they were up moving around. While there, we got to ride on a tram system that took you to see the big game animals. We actually saw all of them! And bison were starting their rutting season, so we got to see the males rolling around in the dirt trying to attack the ladies. Both us of decided that our favorite animal in the park was the river otter. They are sooo playful.
