It's Great to be Eight! Bruce has been waiting for this day for weeks. He kept reminding me that his birthday was coming and had a list a mile long for present ideas.
We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Conde come celebrate with us. Bruce chose to eat at Sharis for his birthday dinner. They gave him a slice of pie to celebrate. Bruce is a very smart kid and loves so many things but especially Legos, I survive Books, and the Wii.
The following day was an even bigger day. Bruce was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We talked so much about his big day that he was sick of hearing about it, but he was so happy to be doing it.
Sadly, we had to limit the number of people that got to attend. Luckily both sets of grandparents made it and so did a great-aunt and a group of cousins.
