Memorial Weekend

We had a fun adventure this Memorial Weekend. Matthew's brothers and their families had a get together in Bend Oregon.
We met up at a yummy burger place.

Then we headed to the fun center to do some bowling. The kids love bowling.

The next day, Brian's family and ours went to the Lava River Bed Cave. The cave was one mile in and one mile back and 42 degrees inside. We all liked it even though we weren't completely prepared for the cold.

We all made it to the end expect Brian and Brittany (they were close.) At one point we all turned off our flashlights to see how dark it was.

After our hike, we went to Wendy's for lunch and then headed to our campsite and meet up with Jake's family. (Sorry no pictures of campsite fun)
It was the best cabin we have had yet--two rooms, fridge, and bathroom.

The next morning, we headed home with a stop to the John Day Fossil-Sheep Unit Site. It was interesting to learn about fossils in the area.
