Kyle's First Birthday

How did this baby

Become this one year old

Time has really flown by! To celebrate his big day, we had a family party with games for the kids.

 We did a relay game on cardboard skiis. Cody needed to have them turned into a sled.

 Kyle played to background music for us.

 We had a game of popcicle stick hockey.

 We tossed add "snowballs" into a bin.

 We did a "snowball" on a spoon race plus catapult the "snowballs"

Then the kids received a prize for the games. They thought it was a blast to play all the games and wanted to keep going.

 Next it was time for cake. I made a sponge cake with whipped cream and strawberries. Surprisingly, Kyle didn't like the strawberries but he loved the cake. He is my only kid who has eaten the entire 6 in cake.

 After cake, it was time for presents. He loved his regifted pop toy. And he loved his dump truck from the grandparents.

This guy is such a happy baby! Notice the bib-crocodiles! He is my Kyle, Kyle Crocodile. He can be anywhere in the house and if I call his nickname, he will "call" it back to me and then come find me. I love it! 

A few fun facts about Kyle. He is working on stairs. His top molars are coming on but he still doesn't have two of his bottom front teeth. His eyes have turned Hazelly brown. Kyle loves being sung to. His favorite book is Brown Bear Brown Bear. He is learning to play peek-a-boo but his favorite game is chase. He is a joy to have in our family.
