February 2017 Fun

This February was filled with adventures!
To start the month off, we had a tea party planned by Regina. We made butterfly placemats, chocolate cake, sugar cookies and lemonade.
The first weekend we drove up to our cousin's cabin so Matthew could go snowmobiling and we could go sledding. It was fun for the kids and myself to see so much snow. It would be fun to do it again but our van can't handle the drive up to the mountain again. We had to be towed out of the subdivison.

The girls received a leadership award at school so the boys and I surprised them at the assembly.

Finally the snow melted enough and the weather was warm enough for us to go on a bike ride.
Kyle was excited to be on the grass watching the boys play while I swept the pavement.

Sometimes Cody has a hard time with Kyle, but today they were friends. Cody was sharing his food with him.
Happy Valentine's Day! Kyle's first Valentines day was very uneventful but he did eat our traditional heart-shaped pizza.

Bruce has really gotten into building with the Duplos. He came to show me his crab claws and how they work.

Kyle loves to look at books. This one is his favorite.
We have spent the last couple of months of preschool working on writing capital letters. Now that he knows how to write them, he is writing notes and signs regularly.
