On August 3rd, my Regina girl turned 6 years old. She has been planning her party for weeks and has had a list of specific presents since her last birthday.
She loved all her presents even though none of them were on her list. She wanted a real guitar, skateboard, and umbrella. She got a backpack, adventure book, slippers, a new bike, and necklace.
After presents, we had a pinata! The kids almost didn't get one since their behavoir was horrible...lack of sleep and too much togetherness this summer is starting to get to all of us.
A few things that I love about Regina:
She loves to create! Give her the supplies and she will dream up anything. Today it was clothes out of an old reciept for her pony. Regina loves to make other people laugh. She always keeps trying even when it seems too hard.
On a side note: we almost didn't get to celebrate at all. Cody tried to get away from me at the store. I held on to his hand and he flopped to the floor. He started to cry and say ouchie ouchie over and over again. He refused to use his left arm after that. After a couple of hours of watching him not use it and him telling me is wrist hurt, we headed to the walk-in clinic. Luckily it wasn't busy. We were in and out with in an hour. Cody had nurses elbow which means he dislocated his elbow. Once it was put back into place, he was back to his normal self.
