This year the weather was great to enjoy the parade...last year it was pouring rain.
Luckily the sun moved soon after this picture so we were in the shade for most of the parade. All but my left knee which has a nice sunburn on it.
The kids loved getting candy; this had to be Cody's favorite part or perhaps all the tractors. Bruce's favorite part was the horses and seeing a garbage truck in the parade. Regina loved the cheerleaders and marching bands. Jennie loved the music and...
seeing Daddy walk in the parade. She told everyone around us that her Daddy was in the parade.
I thought taking all five kids by myself would be really hard especially with camping chairs for each kid plus snack, but it turned out great. They each carried their own chair and we found a parking spot close to the parade route. And they were super great listeners even my little runner Bruce.
