Off to the Beach

The girls didn't have school and Matthew took a day off, so we headed to the beach. Butbefore we could leave. Our van wouldn't start--a dead battery. Thanks to AAA and a new battery, we made it to the beach.

We had a great time digging in the sand. Jennie loved the little river on the beach. Regina loved climbing on a largedriftwood tree and colecting shells. Bruce loved making tracks with his hands. Cody loved splashing in a puddle and chasing us with wet sand. We were all covered with sand by the time it was to get dinner.

The next day, we walked the Bay Front of Newport, OR and visited the Hattfield Museum.

The kids were worn out each day and slept great at the hotels.
