Crater Lake July 2013

We were able to take a day trip to Crater Lake this Saturday. Last year we went and part of the road was still snowed in (We went in early June.) This year, we were able to drive completely around the lake. It was really pretty and peaceful.

Jennie said her favorite part of the day was seeing the Wizard Island in the middle of the Lake.

Regina said her favorite part of the day was drawing in the dirt.

We managed a small hike to the pinnacles---volcanic ash cemented in to spires)

Little Purple Flowers were in bloom and the bees were busy.
