We did wait until Daddy was available to help carve the pumpkin. Jennie was very excited to do it, but once we cut the top off she didn't want to have anything else to do with it. I was hoping she would like playing with the seeds and insides--that is why she has no clothes on, but she wouldn't even sit and watch us carve it.
Jennie finally was willing to investigate the pumpkin after we finished and cleaned up all the insides.
Our Pumpkin 2011---Matthew did a great job--A Classic Jack-o-Lantern.
Jennie did get to join in the festivities earlier---She was very happy/excited to paint her little pumpkin. She still asks to paint it and tells me the colors she wants to use--pink, yellow, and purple.
