Warning: Picture Overload!

Six National Parks and extended family time in the middle.

Our first stop was Bryce Canyon.

The kids were very excited to ride a city bus to entire the park. I was happy we wouldn't have to spend time trying to find parking.

The next morning, we hiked the Toadstool hoodoos outside of Kanab Utah.

Then that afternoon, we were at the Grand Canyon.

By the evening, we were snug in our villa in Sedona AZ. The kids loved having their own TV as much as I did.

My how we have grown and changed since the last time we were in Sedona four years ago.

One of the days, we visited moctezuma's Castle and moctezuma's well.

Another day, we headed to Jerome AZ to view the museum and enjoy some tasty ice cream.

And of course, we did lots of swimming. After two years of swimming lessons, all the kids can safely play in the pool without lifejackets.

On the way home, our first stop was the Petrified Forest.

When we stayed the night in Gallop, NM we stopped by a famous hotel on Route 66, El Rancho. Many famous movie stars used to stay here when filming movies in the desert. Regina was excited to actually recognize a few of the people including Lucille Ball.

Next stop Mesa Verde to see the cliff dweller communities.

The next day, we got up extra early to visit two more National Parks. First up was Canyonlands. We only saw a very small section of it and hope to see the Needles next time.

Our final park was Arches, we weren't sure if we'd have enough energy for it but once we saw the first arch, we were ready for more.

After the trip was done, I asked the kids what was their favorite park. Arches won because they were allowed to climb on the rocks under the Double Arches while we cooled down in the shade.

Bryce Canyon was a very close second since it was the coolest looking.
