 May was a whirlwind of adventures. 

Bruce participated in the school's track and field meet. He won third place in the 200 and 400.

Even though Regina was home for two weeks for Covid precautions, she won third place in the school's science fair. She tested which type of chocolate melted fastest (dark, semi-sweet, and milk chocolate) 

Last Day of School Picture: This year was an interesting year. It started on-line, the two days in the building/three days at home learning (hybrid), then back to online learning, the back to hybrid and then four days a week starting in January for Regina, Bruce, and Cody and at the end of March for Jennie. We all learned a lot about flexibility and I relearned 6th grade math and science.

Mini Vacation (Picture are out of order)

As soon as school got out, we hit the road for a mini-vacation to Yellowstone National Park.

Grandma and Grandpa Wild met us there to spend the day with us. We enjoyed piling in our van and driving to all the sights. The next day on our way home, we stopped off at Minadoka National Monument.

Yellowstone:

Kyle lost his third tooth while we were in Yellowstone. He was very nervous about loosing it since the tooth fairy doesn't visit hotels. He kept checking his pocket to make sure it was there.

On a Saturday we ventured to Caldwell's History Museum. The kids weren't into that much, but it was fun to learn a little about the History of the town and to see some familiar antiques.

Well it happened, Jennie wears the same size clothes as me. I made her this dress for her since she has grown out of her other ones. She loves how the fabric is silky (100% polyester) and that it is pink.

May was an adventurous month which at time tuckered these boys out.

We needed a little fun at the beginning of the month. For Cinco de Mayo, we bought a piñata just because. The kids were so excited especially when Matthew broke it open.

It finally happened after a month of no pedals or training wheels and the bribe of candy and wii time, Cody and Kyle learned to ride a two wheeler on the same day. 

Teacher Appreciation Week at school included sidewalk chalk art by me. It was nice spending the afternoon creating several notes of appreciation at the school. It was a hard year since I was only allowed in the school to pop popcorn when the kids weren't in the building; no volunteering in the classroom this year.

Cody made his teacher, Miss Overcast, smile a lot this year. She was kind enough to keep me in the loop even though I couldn't be there.
