We thought we might have to cancel our plans for Halloween this year since all the kids had a nasty stomach bug for most of the week. (Poor Regina actually got sick at school. Her teacher didn't know what to clean up first--the table or Regina; it was that bad.) But the sickness passed just in time for our Halloween fun. Grandparents and some of the cousins were able to come celebrate with us, which is always a treat.
We had a mini party with games such as a pumpkin beanbag toss, building a skeleton, and a ghost hunt in the front yard. Then it was off to have pizza and cupcake for dinner before trunk or treating at the Church. After the Church, we went to a great neighborhood to trick or treat door to door. The kids loved that part most of all and received tons of candy this year.
The Great Pumpkin made a visit to our house with a small present for each of the kids as well. They were thrilled.
Jennie the Fairy, Regina the Super Hero, Cody the Tiger, and Bruce the Pirate.
