FHE and Tom

We have been striving to have Family Home Evening every Monday, which had been a great blessing in our home. For our lessons, we usually use the Nursery Manual: Behold Your Little Ones. 

This past one, we made Church Buildings for our activity.

Jennie instructed her dad on what needed to be in a Church building including the steeple.

MEET TOM THE PRAYING MANTIS

A couple weeks ago, Matthew found a praying mantis in our backyard. He decided to keep it as a pet for about a week. The kids, especially Jennie, loved looking at him. Jennie actually named him, Tom. (Which we found out that this one was a male.) She was always sure to remind us to feed him his crickets and she wanted to watch it being done.
