Even though we have been sick for most of this month, we have had plenty of bonding and fun times together. During Jennie's sicknesses, she had to stay way from Bruce. She was sure happy when she got the green light to play with him again.
Regina has really fallen in love with Bruce. As she says "My Bruce!" She gets very upset when someone other than her gets to play with or hold him--even Daddy. The other day, Regina was trying to play with him. She would run around saying "Come on Bruce." and when he would cry she would say, "Baby Bruce sad."
Besides having Bruce as a playmate, Regina has discovered my slippers. But as you can tell by the picture, she seems to be missing her clothes. She LOVES have just a diaper on and it has been very difficult to change her mind. The other day, we went to the donut shop and she wouldn't wear a shirt---luckily she was willing to wear her raincoat.
Bruce LOVES the attention he is getting from his sisters---most of the time. We recently started putting in his Bumbo so he can join us at the table. He won't be able to be in it for long though; his legs are too chunky. It is a good thing we have a swing for him to sit in, even though he doesn't care for it to actually swing.
The night before Thanksgiving, Regina was looking out the front window and slipped on a pair of shoes causing her to split her lip. The result was an hour in the urgent care, six stitches, and a run to two different pharmacies to get medicine. Thankfully we have figured out how to keep her from pulling the stitches---socks taped over her hands, and she will take this medicine if it is mixed with juice.
Just had to post this one. This night, Regina refused to go to bed---she figured out the door knob locks and can climb over the baby gate. After spending an hour trying to get her to stay in her room, I finally gave up and just ignored her. Then about 20 minutes later, I found her sound asleep in MY bed. This has been her favorite spot to sleep. We are having a hard time convincing her that she needs to sleep in her bed with out mom in it.
